RN - RN Emergency - FS

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Note all changes in physician orders on assigned patients
• Assist physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Deliver competent patient care across a variety of health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
