ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. You'll work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week with 36 hours guaranteed weekly.

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department setting
• Manage inpatient hold patients alongside emergency department assignments
• Care for patients across varying acuity levels and nurse-to-patient ratios
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care during night hours
• Respond to the dynamic needs of an emergency environment

You'll work with a team managing both emergency patients and inpatient holds, requiring flexibility and strong assessment skills. This position offers you the opportunity to practice acute care nursing in a busy hospital setting while maintaining a consistent night shift schedule.
