Job Details:

• Work on a 10-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit with patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Able to float to MCU/Tele department as needed
• Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts per contract
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatrics ranging from infants to geriatrics with main focus on adults to geriatrics
• Manage patient/family experience through critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and nursing judgment
• Use nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to meet patient needs
• Direct activities of ancillary staff and manage care of assigned patients
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care from admission to discharge
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Required certifications: CA-RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, with 1 year acute healthcare setting preferred and 1 year acute rehab care setting preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• 7-year work history verification required
