RN (Registered Nurse)

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Acute Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM<br>• Every other weekend schedule rotating with permanent staff<br>• Patient ratios of 1:6 for both day and night shifts<br>• 2 years of experience required in specialty<br>• Must have experience at larger organizations with high acuity, high turnover, and fast pace<br>• Care for patients with diabetes, CHF, COPD, GI bleeds, renal failure, dialysis patients, post-surgical overflow, amputations, debridements, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, and psychiatric patients<br>• Administer medications including Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin<br>• Utilize CPAP equipment and BiPAP at night as needed<br>• Primary care nursing model with focus on patient satisfaction and quality of care<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS; ACLS preferred<br>• Must comply with strict 75-mile radius rule from facility<br>• Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs or white scrubs with caribbean blue bottoms<br>• No artificial or shellac nails permitted - only polished nails allowed<br>• No bags allowed at nurses station; lockers available with personal locks<br>• Strict attendance policy enforced<br>• Charting system: MEDITECH<br>• May float to other acute care units and cardiology as needed<br>• Work with CNA support staff and LPNs on the floor</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 483-bed main campus hospital providing comprehensive acute care services.
