CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Possible floating to like units to meet facility needs
• Multi-modality technologist providing quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT
• Must effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in procedures being performed
• Produce images for interpretation and/or request of licensed practitioners
• Work with adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient populations
• Handle emergency department, trauma, and various imaging procedures including head, chest, abdomen, and vascular studies
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT), SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS (pending acceptable if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• South Carolina license required
• Experience preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams, Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS
• Dress code: Teal blue top, black bottoms
• Use Epic charting system and PACS
• Work with Siemens X-ray and CT equipment
• Agency must provide radiation badges
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
