CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography required or possess a limited permit to practice in New York State
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with limited or no experience required
• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and patient care
• Create diagnostic images while providing patients with safe and positive experiences
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, intensive care patients, research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Work in trauma and emergency room scanning environment
