Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ MUSC Health Orangeburg

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM<br>• Maintain 1:5 patient ratio<br>• Every other weekend requirement is non-negotiable<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS<br>• Experience required in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, and bedside telemetry monitoring<br>• Community hospital experience preferred<br>• Epic charting system experience preferred<br>• Work with bedside monitors capable of tele, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias<br>• Royal blue scrubs required<br>• 24-hour orientation provided<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignment requirements from June through November</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 286-bed acute care hospital features a newly constructed medical surgical telemetry unit built from the ground up. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and 24/7 house supervisor coverage.
