Cath Lab Technologist Job in Steubenville, OH

You will work as a Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cath Lab at Southwest - UPMC Trinity in Steubenville, Ohio. This is a 90-day travel position with a 5x8 schedule (5 days per week, 8 hours per day) at a weekly rate of $3,372. Your start date is November 2, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in performing invasive cardiac procedures, including right heart monitoring, myoendocardial biopsies, left heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, film processors, filmless systems, defibrillators, monitoring equipment, and interventional devices
• Enter and document patient information into the Cath Lab hemodynamic computer system
• Monitor patients throughout pre-procedure, procedure, and post-procedure phases
• Communicate vital patient information to physicians, including blood pressure and heart rhythms
• Prepare trays and procedure rooms prior to procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain procedures, and provide procedure instructions
• Support information gathering for research patients
• Aid in transport of patients to and from the Cath Lab to maintain timely department operations
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited technical program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related cardiovascular setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology pertaining to cardiac patients
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred
