Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, VT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont. You will work the night shift on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,304 weekly.

Role Overview

You will staff a 25-bed adaptive acuity Telemetry unit with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. On occasion, you will be asked to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care at a 3:1 ratio, which is non-negotiable. You must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within your scope of practice.

Key Requirements

• Current Vermont RN license or Compact license
• Charge nurse experience is required; travelers without charge experience will not be considered
• Minimum 2+ years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 months of previous travel nursing experience (non-negotiable)
• Drip experience required, including insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Current skills checklists for PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry (within one year)
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment

Scheduling and Expectations

Every other weekend is required. Holidays are required as needed. You must work at minimum two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after. All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of upload. RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.

You must have your own vehicle for commuting. Assignment begins November 1, 2026.
