Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients
• Maintain clinical expertise for departmental assignments at various business units
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees regarding patient care needs
• Adequately document all aspects of patient care
• Supervise, direct and delegate to Respiratory Therapists, orientees, externs and students as assigned
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information
• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience required
• Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program required
• Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care required
• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required
