Interventional Radiology RN Job in La Crosse, WI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology department at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of December 7, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Shift times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 7:45 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly
• Weekly pay: $3,652
• On-call requirement: one night per week and every 4–6 weekends with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend coverage is call-only as needed
• Potential for holiday call coverage

The Role

You will support procedures across 2 fluoroscopy suites, 2 procedure suites, 1 biplane lab, 1 hybrid lab, and CT imaging. You will serve both inpatients and outpatients, ranging from clinic patients to critical care patients, for elective and emergent procedures. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of 12 RNs, 12 IR technologists, 4 perioperative technicians, 4 IR physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers, and 1 Neuro-Interventional locum. No floating is required—all work stays within the Interventional Radiology department.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 3 or more years of RN experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Critical Care, ER, or Recovery
• Sedation experience required
• Familiarity with neurointervention procedures including stroke thrombectomy and embolization
• Strong IV skills
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
