Job Details:

• 8-hour day shift with a 7:45 AM start time
• Work as a Certified Medical Assistant in an adult medicine outpatient setting
• Collaborate with a variety of specialty providers
• Must be comfortable working independently and hitting the ground running
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Outpatient internal medicine experience preferred
• Epic experience a plus
• Must have knowledge of medical assisting practices, relevant policies, procedures, and routines
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required
• Must have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (CAAHEP or ABHES) required
• Current registration as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA or equivalent certifying body required
• BLS certification required
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of staff rotation
