Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on 28-bed unit
• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday for both day and night shifts)
• Work in holiday rotation schedule with permanent staff
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Must be able to titrate drips and read/interpret telemetry strips
• Care for cardiac patients, post-catheterization, AMI, post-operative lung surgeries, respiratory failure patients, chest tubes, pacemakers, and post-PCI patients
• Floating requirements to any med surg/tele unit
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charge nurse available 24/7 (days charge does not take patients, nights charge takes patients)
• Nurse aids available on day shift for 10 patients, no aids on night shift
