About this role

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 24-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry capability at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 4, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

  • 3x12-hour night shifts per week
  • 36-hour weekly guarantee with up to 3 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment
  • $2,233.80 weekly pay

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care with a focus on telemetry monitoring and cardiac care for adult patients. Your nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:6 on nights, adjusted based on acuity level. You may float to other medical-surgical units and ICU for overflow patients as needed. You'll perform IV procedures since no IV team is available on site.

Requirements

  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
  • PALS (AHA) certification preferred
  • Strong neurological and cardiac nursing skills

Facility and Support

Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is a Level 3 trauma center in an acute care setting. You'll work with an experienced team including telemetry technicians, charge nurses, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians. The facility provides 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapist, and pharmacy support. The electronic medical record system is Allscripts Sunrise.

Work Environment

  • 24-bed unit with telemetry monitoring on all beds
  • Adult patients only; pediatric patients are assigned to permanent staff
  • Any color scrubs allowed except all black (scrubs not provided)
