ED RN Job in Kingwood, TX

You'll work as an RN in the 28-bed Emergency Department at HCA Houston Kingwood, located on the first floor of the North Tower. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of March 23, 2026.

Your Role

• Provide direct patient care with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, EKGs, and other emergency interventions
• Work within a team of 15 staff members including charge nurse, 10 RNs, 2–3 technicians, and 1 unit secretary per shift
• No floating required; you'll remain in the ED

Schedule & Hours

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20

Requirements & Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Acute ER experience required—candidates without emergency department experience will not be considered
• Trauma experience preferred
• Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
• Experience with EMR system Meditech preferred
