Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed CVICU
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients
• Work with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS patients
• Required to work 2 weekends per month
• Must work 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
• Must work 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float as needed to other ICUs and floors when required
• Strong critical care experience required, including CVICU experience
• Advanced skills needed with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations on unit
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Work with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
• Document using Meditech system
• Dress code requires black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests only
