Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

• Rotate between day shifts varying from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Work in a small acute care hospital with a 4-room operating room
• Perform sterile processing duties including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Work with a variety of surgical instruments and scopes including laparoscopic, orthopedic, robotic (Da Vinci), and general surgery trays
• Utilize aseptic technique and proper sterilization wrapping procedures
• Operate washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and automated endoscope reprocessors
• Perform high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) as needed
• Assemble and organize instrument trays and case carts
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CBSPD
• 40 orientation hours required
