Endoscopy RN Job in Wichita, KS

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is seeking an RN for their 9-bed Endoscopy Laboratory. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 28, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,361.

Schedule

• Primary shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
• 2 opening shifts per month: 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities: 3 to 4 weeknight shifts per month (Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 13.5 hours)
• 1 Friday per month on-call: 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 1 to 2 weekend shifts per month (Saturday 11:00 PM to Sunday/Monday 7:00 AM)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS procedures
• Intra-op team: 2 RNs per 1 patient; pre/post-op: 1 RN to 2 patients
• Infection control, manual cleaning, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes
• Operate Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing equipment
• Document using Meditech EMR
• Support high-acuity patients undergoing basic and interventional/therapeutic procedures with specialized physicians
• Work independently and as part of an intraoperative team with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Endoscopy RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• PACU experience preferred
• Experience with Olympus scopes and reprocessing preferred
• Circulating and tech procedure experience preferred
