ED RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a travel assignment. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, earning $1,971 weekly. The assignment is 91 days, with a start date of May 4, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency room patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care decisions
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Support a 38-bed emergency department serving as a Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility
• Float to other departments as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Willingness to float to other departments
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• NIH certification recommended but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Charge nurse experience (eligible for $3/hour differential)
