ED Registered Nurse Job in Utica, NY

MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position running 89 days, with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Shift Details

• 3x12 evening shifts
• 12.5-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,457.18
• Travel rate applies if you live 75+ miles from the facility; local rates available for local applicants

Clinical Requirements

• 3+ years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Current New York nursing license with NURSYS report verification
• Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required

Clinical Scope

You will care for patients from newborn to geriatric populations, managing a range of diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. You will work with specialty equipment such as rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices, and manage required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications.
