Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend night shift schedule
• Work independently as the sole therapist on duty per night shift
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators
• Perform arterial line insertions and intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases
• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients
• Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures
• Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Required licenses: NM Respiratory Therapy License and RT Registration
