Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes 3-4 weekend shifts per month
• Implement professional nursing practice centered on patient-focused care and healing environment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice
• Consider patient culture, age, and developmental level in care planning
• Identify patient risk factors and presenting complaints
• Collect objective and subjective patient data
• Develop prioritized problem lists based on inter-professional team input
• Design culturally appropriate actions and interventions
• Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy
• Explain procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members
• Monitor accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care
• Identify and address patient educational needs
• Facilitate discharge process and coordinate with case management
• Participate in unit-based activities supporting organizational values
• Engage in quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and pressure ulcer prevention
• Maintain nursing excellence through evidence-based practice and current research
