<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in NICU unit with specialized transport responsibilities<br>• Minimum 2 years NICU Transport experience required<br>• Schedule requires 2-3 shifts per week<br>• Work with specialized equipment including Hamilton vent/Cross Vent and TXP<br>• Paper documentation system utilized<br>• Required certifications: RRT/CRT, NRP, PALS required; STABLE preferred<br>• Annual transport competencies must be maintained<br>• Must demonstrate proficiency in neonatal airway & ventilation, mask ventilation, airway stabilization, and ventilator management<br>• Handle transport operations including transport physiology, isolette systems, equipment troubleshooting, and oxygen management<br>• Provide critical neonatal care for conditions including RDS, MAS, PPHN, BPD, sepsis, and hemodynamic support<br>• Perform bag-mask ventilation, secure advanced airways, assist with line placements, and conduct point-of-care testing<br>• Maintain clear team communication and efficient handoffs between facilities<br>• Black on Black scrubs required<br>• Must understand transport physiology effects and safely operate transport isolette systems<br>• Knowledge of ground and air transport safety protocols and EMS integration required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 612-bed healthcare organization featuring the only Level I trauma center and children&#39;s hospital in the region.
