Telemetry RN Job in Stockbridge, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the 32-bed Telemetry unit at Piedmont Henry Hospital, caring for adult to geriatric patients on a 3x12 night schedule. This is a 98-week assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,918.08.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage patient ratios of 1:5 during days and nights, and 1:6 on weekends
• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry care for post-PCI patients and post-cardiac catheterization cases
• Administer and monitor continuous IV medications including cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips
• Perform arrhythmia management and support cardioversion procedures
• Manage overflow IMCU patients and care for conditions including cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary issues
• Float to like units within the facility as needed
• Utilize Epic charting, Pyxis, and SBAR communication protocols
• Complete telemetry competency exam and 36 orientation hours with modules

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; prior travel healthcare experience required
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic arrhythmia recognition and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience managing continuous IV cardiac medications and drips

Assignment Details:

• Typically work every other weekend; permanent staff scheduled first
• Maximum 7 days RTO (return time off) per contract
• Rare call requirements with 2-hour response time
• Work major holidays if they fall during your assignment period
• Wear Navy Blue scrubs
