Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Weekend requirement: every third or fourth weekend
• On-call responsibilities as selected in collaboration with other staff
• Care for cardiac catheterization patients, peripherals, TAVR, devices, and related procedures
• Nurse to patient ratio: one patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Galaxy blue dress code required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Precepted by designated trained staff member with competency validation required
• Provide routine and complex cardiac care utilizing nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
