CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Cardiovascular OR specialty with adult and pediatric patients
• 1 call shift per week and 1 full weekend per month required
• Float to general procedures when not busy in CVOR
• 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room handling elective and emergency surgeries
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• NY state license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• BLS certification required
• Extensive skills required including CABG, TAVR, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, hybrid OR procedures, and trauma cases
• Must be proficient in aseptic technique, equipment documentation, laser safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours)
• First time travelers accepted
