CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4/10-hour shifts Thursday through Sunday
• Thursday and Friday CT shifts run from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday and Sunday X-Ray shifts run from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Work independently as the sole staff member in the department between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
• Float between CT and General X-Ray areas as needed
• Perform CT imaging including W/WO Contrast Head, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, CTA PE, Runoff, and Extremities
• Perform General X-Ray imaging including Chest, PICC line placement, Tube Placement, and Trauma/FX Extremities
• Average 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays per night on graveyard shift
• Start IVs independently when needed, as no RN is available in the department
• Use EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• Operate Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream X-Ray room, and GE Portable X-Ray equipment
• EPIC training required in Tacoma with one week of on-site training
• If a holiday falls on a scheduled shift, you are expected to work it
• Must provide radiation badge
• Wear scrubs of your choosing
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Washington state license required
• Acute care setting
