About this role
St Josephs Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join its IR and Cath Lab team in Stockton, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,980.80.
Role and Schedule
You will work 12-hour day shifts on an every-other-weekend schedule. A first-to-float designation applies, though you will not float to other units. You will receive 1–2 days of unit-specific orientation before beginning cases. Call requirements include a 30-minute response time with 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every other week rotation.
Clinical Environment
The facility operates a 4-suite Cath Lab and IR unit with an average of 15–20 cases per day. St Josephs is a STEMI receiving center, handling many STEMI cases monthly. You will work with critically ill patients and must be comfortable in that setting.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation procedures
- Experience with coronary, balloon pump (IABP), and Impella devices
- Proficiency with equipment including laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet
- Charting in Cerner EMR
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Siemens or Phillips equipment and the Merge Hemo system are bonuses but not required.
Required Credentials and Certifications
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy certification
- Valid state license
- Allied Health Professional credential
The facility provides scrubs in teal blue. BSN is not required for this role.
