Interventional Radiology Technologist

Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• First to float designation applies
• No floating to other units required
• 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation provided
• Call requirement: 30-minute response time with 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every other week rotation
• Average of 15-20 cases per day in 4-suite Cath Lab and IR unit
• Must have experience with peripheral and coronary circulation procedures
• Must have experience with coronary, balloon pumps (IABP), and Impella devices
• Work with equipment including laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet
• Experience with Siemens/Phillips equipment is helpful but not required
• Experience with Merge Hemo system is a bonus
• Charting conducted in Cerner EMR
• Must be comfortable with critically ill patients
• Facility is a STEMI receiving center with many STEMI cases per month
• Scrubs provided in teal blue
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy
• BSN not required
• Valid state license required for submission
