Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12-hour night shift rotation
• 36-hour guaranteed workweek
• Weekly pay: $2,074.71
• Rotating call and weekend requirements included
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms available

Role Requirements

• Certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience within the last 3 years (3 years strongly preferred)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required (minimum 1 year within the last 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years

Surgical Specialties

You must be able to scrub all case types with strong proficiency (level 3 or 4) across:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neuro Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Trauma Surgery
• Robotics
• Transplant Surgery

Call Schedule Details

• Call shifts can occur on weekdays and/or weekends
• Weekend shifts may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
