Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Oncology

Job Details:

• 36-hour weekly schedule with every other weekend as required
• Work on a 33-bed Medical Oncology unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Unit secretary available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 3 CNAs available for 33 patients per shift along with a Charge RN, Clinical Manager, and Director
• Utilize electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile, and remote telemetry equipment
• Document using the Meditech system
• Conduct hourly rounds on day shift and 2-hour rounds after 9:00 PM
• Travelers are first to float per unit floating policy
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: Med Surg, Palliative Care, ONS specialty certification
• Must have ONS chemo training for inpatient chemotherapy administration
• Required dress code: Pewter colored scrubs and white in any combination
• Must demonstrate a patient-first attitude
• 48 guaranteed hours is an option
