Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Houston, TX

You will work as an RN in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at HCA Houston Medical Center, located on the 1st floor of the South Tower. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning April 6, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week (10-hour days)
• Weekly pay: $2,482
• Every other weekend and one weekday on-call requirement

Role Details

You will provide nursing care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization environment. The lab operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with after-hours and weekend on-call coverage. You will work with 3–4 staff members per procedure room, supporting both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Day shift staffing combines RN and radiology technologist roles.

• Perform nursing responsibilities in heavy structural heart procedures, including those associated with clinical trials
• Operate Siemens, GE, and Philips equipment
• Document patient care using the Merge EMR system
• Float as needed to Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab pre- and post-care areas

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• Current Texas State RN License or valid compact license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural Heart experience
