ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week with 36 hours guaranteed. This is an every-other-weekend rotation position with a 91-day contract beginning May 4, 2026.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across various stages of treatment. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing patient flow between the emergency department and inpatient holding areas
• Handling both emergency department and inpatient hold patient ratios and acuity levels
• Adapting to varying patient acuity levels throughout your shift
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

You will care for patients with diverse presentations and conditions, requiring flexibility and strong clinical assessment skills. The role demands your ability to prioritize care and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassionate patient interactions.

Compensation: $2,496.78 weekly
