OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Inpatient, Acute Care Occupational Therapy position
• Monday through Friday schedule, 5x8 day shifts
• Evaluate and treat patients on the acute inpatient rehab unit with an average daily census of 5
• Provide therapy services on acute care floors in addition to the inpatient rehab unit
• Supervise COTA treatments in both the inpatient rehab unit and acute care floors
• See approximately 12 patients per day
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work with patient diagnoses including debility, CVA, hip fractures, amputations, and similar conditions
• Skills required include acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, CVA rehabilitation, electrical stimulation, functional independence measure (FIM), hip fracture and total hip replacement, knee injuries and total knee replacement, upper extremity, amputee care, Parkinson's disease, and other progressive neurological disorders
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
