MRI Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

You will work as an MRI Technologist at MUSC Health Charleston, a float position that requires you to travel between all buildings within the health system. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a skilled imaging professional.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x10 shift pattern, Monday through Thursday
• Primary hours 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with flexibility to accommodate coverage needs (shifts may run 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
• Facility may call off one shift per two weeks; guaranteed hours policy applies
• You will work holidays if they fall on a scheduled shift
• No on-call requirement

Pay and Duration

• Weekly pay: $2,534.40
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: July 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Siemens MRI system experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Technical Skills

You will perform imaging across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen, brain, cervical spine, cranial nerves, and pelvis. Your skill set should include gradient echo and spin echo imaging, MRCP, MRA, MRV, perfusion studies, multiplanar reconstruction, T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, and upper and lower extremity protocols. You will prepare and administer contrast media and place peripheral IVs as needed. Patient populations include adults and geriatrics.
