About this role

Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Show Low, Arizona. You'll work 3x12 night shifts (36-hour weekly guarantee) at a Level IV Trauma Center caring for approximately 100 patients daily across 30 private rooms, a six-bed fast track unit, and a six-room Emergency Department Observation Unit.

Your Role

You'll manage a 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, treating trauma, cardiac, neurological, and general emergency cases. The ED includes one seclusion room and five additional monitored rooms. Fast track beds are staffed with PA support for minor non-urgent cases. During peak hours, you'll have support from five technicians. You'll use the Allscripts Sunrise EMR system and Omnicell medication management.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
  • BSN not required

What to Know

Scrubs are required in any color except all black; scrubs are not provided. You'll join a busy trauma center with diverse patient acuity and established support systems.
