About this role

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Parkland Health in Dallas, TX, conducting specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology procedures. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, starting May 18, 2026.

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology studies with attention to safety and protocol compliance
  • Serve as a resource to medical and clinical staff, ensuring optimal use of equipment and capabilities
  • Prepare patients, manage room setup, and assist with draping for routine procedures
  • Review physician orders and communicate with physicians regarding routine procedures
  • Select and maintain equipment according to protocols and regulatory standards
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of special procedures equipment prior to each procedure
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain proper functioning
  • Participate in Universal Protocol to ensure safe patient care
  • Participate in rotating after-hours call with required Sunday rotation (maximum 30-minute commute time)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
  • Experience in critical care settings (ICU, ED, etc.) or previous Cath/EP Lab experience preferred
  • Current ARRT or RCIS certification
  • Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
  • Texas Medical Radiologic License
  • Previous travel healthcare experience highly preferred

You will earn $3,168 weekly. Weekend schedule will be determined by the facility. Disclose any previous employment history with this organization in your profile.
