<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies<br>• Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of capabilities<br>• Collaborate with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care and participate in Universal Protocol<br>• Assist with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room preparation for routine procedures<br>• Read physician orders/protocols and communicate with physicians as needed for routine procedures<br>• Select equipment according to protocols and regulatory standards to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction<br>• Maintain and calibrate equipment, conduct preventive maintenance procedures, and troubleshoot issues<br>• Conduct maintenance on special procedures equipment and calibrate equipment prior to each procedure<br>• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility<br>• Rotating after hours call with required Sunday rotation and maximum 30 minute commute time<br>• Must have 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases required<br>• Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred<br>• Previous travel experience highly preferred<br>• Required certifications: ARRT or RCIS, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)<br>• Texas Medical Radiologic License required<br>• Must disclose any previous employment history with this organization in profile</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing specialized cardiovascular services to the community.
