PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• Patient ratio of 1 to 5 patients with maximum of 5 patients per day
• Typically see 3-4 patients per day with 90 minutes per patient
• Work in Medical Rehabilitation Unit within trauma hospital setting
• Primarily treat stroke patients (40% of caseload)
• No weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating to other units required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• West Virginia PT licensure required prior to start (pending license acceptable)
• Use Cerner charting system
• Dress code allows any scrubs except blue, forest green, or maroon colors
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 2-6 hours (non-billable)
• Flu vaccine required during October 1st - March 31st season unless medical exemption provided
