Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit on the 2nd floor of the main hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Must have Telemetry experience and Post-op Care experience
• 2 or more years of experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, NIH
• Perform daily weights, vital signs, intake/output, hourly rounding, and bedside report
• Perform procedures including CBI, cardiac drip, heparin drip, phototherapy, wound care, IV starts, NGT, and Foley care
• Responsible for discharging and admitting own patients
• Work with equipment including C.O.W.s, BP machines, Doppler, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, sit to stand, traction, SCDs, IV pumps, PCA pump, epidural pump, Ambit pain pump, and KCI & Prevena wound vac
• EMR system: Meditech Expanse (PCS)
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• 4-week schedule requiring every other weekend or 2 weekends per schedule
• Holidays required
• RTO must be pre-approved
• May float to ICU for Med-Surg overflow patients
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes initiative, and is a team player
