Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work in a high volume and fast-paced endoscopy department
• Rotate through pre-operative, post-operative, and intra-operative areas
• Call shifts required - approximately 5 call shifts per 4-week period
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff
• Follow standard work protocols related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators
• Precept and mentor novice employees to support department performance
• Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practices
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation
• Float to assist in other similar units as needed
• Foster environment demonstrating caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and visitors
