Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central is seeking an RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 4x10 day shift position with a duration of 89 weeks, beginning August 24, 2026. You will earn $2,718 weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
• Delegate and supervise activities of health care team members including licensed nurses and other personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses in a legible and timely manner
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership activities
• Scrub patients and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Wyoming
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Wyoming DFS certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty experience within the past 12 months
• Demonstrated scrubbing experience in the cath lab
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the cardiac cath lab environment
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
