First Assist Technician Job in Springfield, OR

You will serve as an advanced operating room professional under the direct supervision of surgeons at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment working 4x10 shifts during day hours, with weekly pay of $2,880.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing crucial surgical tasks including suturing, providing exposure, and controlling bleeding
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and operating room personnel to support patient care
• Adhering to Oregon Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and departmental policies

Required qualifications:

• Active Oregon RN License
• Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience with prior travel experience
• Successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards
• RNFA credentialing through either NBSTSA or NCCSA
• Placement on the Oregon RNFA Registry

Clinical focus areas:

You will have strong experience in OB-GYN procedures including C-sections and robotic surgery, as well as general surgery including robotics. On-call coverage will be OB only on a rotating schedule of one week on and one week off.
