Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Primary shift hours are 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM with cardiac call required
• May perform other cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Minimum of 18 months experience required; 2 years preferred
• 3+ years of experience strongly preferred
• Strong Vascular and CVOR experience required
• Cardiac OR experience required with ability to start call
• Call requirements vary with approximately 6 shifts minimum per month; may be up to 10 shifts if short staffed
• Weekend call shifts are 24-hour shifts
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
• Floating to sister facilities is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Required certifications: BLS; NBSTSA/NCCT preferred but not required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Must be willing to participate in training for students and new staff at this teaching facility
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application as it will not be reviewed if added later
