ED RN Job in Nacogdoches, TX

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work a 3x12 evening shift on a contract basis for 10–13 weeks, starting June 16, 2026.

Your Role

You will provide direct clinical care to assigned patients each shift, taking responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans. You will supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and collaborate with the clinical nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Your work will focus on competency maintenance of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient outcomes.

• Onboarding location: HR office, 1st floor Suite 107, located behind the hospital in the only 2-story office building on campus

You will assume clinical and supervisory responsibilities within a fast-paced emergency care environment, working directly with patients and supporting the interdisciplinary team.
