Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 night shifts from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts, 48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Weekend coverage required - 2 to 3 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week period
• On-call required - 5 to 6 night shifts per 6-week period (22:00 to 07:00 on-call)
• Float required within Medical/Surgical Telemetry scope to meet facility needs
• Work in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients with varying medical diagnoses on 24 to 48-hour observation stays
• Occasional overflow surgical patients; no medication drips
• Must have strong telemetry experience and ability to function autonomously
• Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred but not required)
• Scrub color: Any color scrubs, no jean material
• Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Transportation
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS
• Massachusetts state license required and must be valid at time of submission
• Finalized RTO must be included with submission; no RTO will be added after signing
