Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shift schedule
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week required - 36 hours will not be accepted
• 8-week contract length
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Float throughout all in-patient areas including Med Surg/Tele units - may be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved
• Holiday rotation required - guaranteed hours are not guaranteed during holidays when unit is closed
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with 15-45 beds depending on unit assignment
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in specialty required
• Must have Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Charting experience in Care View/EPIC preferred - will train on-site
• Required certifications: KY/Compact RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
• EKG test required for all RNs to be completed during compliance process
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
