Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• Variable day shifts with weekend availability for on-call only
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• 6-8 nights of weeknight on-call and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract with a 30-minute response time (must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes)
• May be required to float to additional locations as needed
• Must have personal vehicle - cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
• Set up operative suites for patients and verify all supplies are available through case cart review
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Work within a 21 OR facility averaging 40-60 cases per day
• Ortho, Neuro, and Spine experience required including complex spine, neuro, and craniotomy cases
• Must be strong in total joint procedures
• General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI experience a bonus but not required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• 4+ years of experience required
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• Must be willing to assist with downtime tasks and help teach new hires
• Scrub colors: any color
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted; AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Holiday rotation required as needed
