PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends required
• No on-call requirements
• Block schedule accommodated as this is a Monday through Friday position
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours weekly for 8 and 10 hour shifts, 36 hours weekly for 3x12 shifts, and 48 hours weekly for 4x12 shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Treat both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Compact license accepted; Montana state license accepted; pending license not accepted
• No requested time off within first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week
• Required certifications: BLS and state license
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Scrub color: Any per dress code policy
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses variable across all inpatient and outpatient settings
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Key skills required include acute care, gait training, orthopedics, rehabilitation, wound care, and treatment of conditions such as total hip and knee replacements, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal conditions
