Radiation Therapist Job in Roswell, GA

You will work as a Radiation Therapist at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia. This is a full-time travel position with a 91-day duration, beginning May 4, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with varying weekly hours
• Weekend coverage and on-call rotation participation required
• Weekly pay: $2,220

Your Responsibilities

• Apply ionizing radiation to patients according to physician prescriptions using proper radiation safety measures
• Operate radiation-producing equipment and perform complex technical procedures with precision
• Conduct patient simulations for new patients and new treatment fields per physician orders
• Complete patient assessments and provide age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Participate in quality control monitoring and daily warm-up procedures
• Document patient information and treatment details in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families about expected side effects and treatment procedures
• Manage patient scheduling and communicate any changes
• Wear radiation safety badges at all times and practice universal precautions
• Serve as a clinical instructor for radiation therapy students

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree (Associate's degree from accredited radiation therapy program)
• ARRT-T (ARRT Radiation Therapy) certification required upon hire
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years experience in radiation therapy preferred
• Demonstrated ability to treat and simulate patients
