Pediatrics RN Job in Tulsa, OK

Yale Campus - Trauma Tower in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Emergency Center. This is a travel nursing position with a 89-day contract starting December 6, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights per week
• Weekly pay: $2,406
• Credential required: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA) and PALS

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status
• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit and nursing guidelines
• Provide nursing care with consideration for cultural and psychosocial factors appropriate to patient ages
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills suited to the pediatric patient population
• Document the nursing process and care accurately, concisely, and legibly using correct medical terminology
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning with timely and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines and professionals as appropriate
• Exercise independent judgment in planning and decision-making in a complex clinical environment

Required Qualifications:

• 0–6 months of related experience
• Epic experience
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner
• Detail-oriented with ability to examine clinical and numerical data
