NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Varied weekend and holiday schedule required
• Must have Level 2 NICU experience
• No guaranteed hours provided
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Professional certification preferred
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide specialized nursing care appropriate to physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in patient records
• Participate in education and orientation of facility personnel
• Physical demands include ability to stand, walk, bend, reach frequently and lift up to 75 pounds
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
